Haley Denemark travels to Ohio to hone her craft
At 19, Haley Denemark is already a theatrical veteran, having performed on the Space Coast since the tender age of two. This summer the accomplished thespian traveled to Newark, Ohio to perform at the prestigious Weathervane Playhouse as part of a Summer Stock Theatre contract. Haley, who has already performed in 65 stage plays and several independent films, landed roles in three of the Playhouse’s five summer productions as the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, Martha in The Miracle Worker and Little Inez in Hairspray. In addition, Haley also worked as a paid Apprentice while she rehearsed, performed, took classes and did technical work as part of her contract. She is currently enrolled in the Theatre program at Brevard Community College and hopes to pursue a career in acting. Weathervane Playhouse is Ohio’s longest-running professional summer stock theatre and has received numerous awards for its’ theatrical productions.
