This article doesn't pertain to Brevard County but rather to traveling with your pets to other locations outside the Space Coast, so showing a dog on the beach is not supposed to imply this practice is permitted locally. Sorry for any confusion.

Pictures of dogs on the beach? Do the research pls! Brevard couunty ordinance is clearly posted that dogs are not allowed and the fine is $100. On any given evening I can walk my stretch of beach south of Jetty Park and, and if I had the authority, collect up tp $500. Romantic stock photos of pooch and master, pooch and family cavorting in the surf only serve to undermine the very good reasons that dogs are not allowed on beaches. That is another story for another day. In the meantime puleeze pay attention and refrain from setting up unrealistic expectations. Otherwise I enjoyed the magazine.
